Meet the Team

Druid City Properties’s goal is to be the best property management company in Tuscaloosa, AL. We strive to provide the best service possible to our owners and tenants. Our specialty is leasing and management of single family houses in Tuscaloosa and Northport. We also handle condos on and around the University of Alabama campus.

Systems, processes, and technology are the core of how we build our business. We focus on making every aspect of marketing, leasing, maintenance, communications, and reporting as quick, easy, and professional as possible. We use cutting edge property management software that allows us to handle most all tenant processes from applications, leases, work orders, texting, payments, and notices not only online but on the tenants smart phone. Owners are able to receive direct deposits for their monthly distributions and have an online portal to see up to date reporting.

Druid City Properties is owned and operated by real estate professionals that also own rental properties themselves. We understand how to manage properties the way that they should be managed.

Richard Henry » Broker/Owner

Richard is a native of Tuscaloosa. He obtained his degree in Building Science from Auburn University. He is also a graduate of the 2013 Leadership Tuscaloosa class. He entered the property management field in 2008 when he couldn’t find a management company that would manage his properties at his standards. Richard hopes to have the highest quality management company in Tuscaloosa for owners and tenants. In 2018, Richard was awarded a position in Tuscaloosa’s 40 under 40.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Jana, daughter Sally, son Thomas and friends on Lake Tuscaloosa.

Stacie Sherrow » Director of Operations

Stacie has been in Property Management since 2014. She oversees the entire office. Stacie also handles daily office operations. Stacie has three children and one grandson. In her spare time, she attends church on Sundays with her husband and children, and small group sessions at Church of the Highlands.

John Halcomb » Operations Manager

John has worked with Richard Henry and in Property Management since 2007. He is in charge of all of our maintenance staff, all property repairs, and remodeling. He has a deep understanding of all things construction and maintenance.

In his spare time, he enjoys building and riding custom motorcycles. John has won many awards to include Baddest Bagger in Panama City Beach. This award lead to a position in SEMA and his motorcycle being published in American Bagger Magazine. John is the father of three and is happily married to his wife, Jennie.

Amber Walker » Director of Owners

Amber joined the team in 2018 as part of the Leasing Team and then she was our Property Manager until February 2021 when she transitioned into the Director of Owners. Amber works directly with our current and potential owners to get them and their investment property set up so our Leasing Team can work their magic! She may occasionally assist in other areas of Druid City, but her primary role is with our owners and assisting our Director of Operations with daily tasks. She obtained a degree in Business Management while living in South Korea and in Alaska. Amber spends her spare time with her son (mostly looking for bugs and lizards…), attending Church of the Highlands, and going to the gym.

Macy Dyer » Property Manager

Macy started with us in October 2019 as our Leasing Coordinator. In February 2021, Macy transitioned into the role of Property Manager overseeing our Assistant Property Manager and Leasing Team. In this role she works with tenants on their monthly payments as well as enforcing property rules and regulations as well as supervisors the Leasing Team in their daily tasks. She is the mother of twins and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Miranda Chavez » Assistant Property Manager:

Miranda Chavez made the switch to Property Management in January 2021. She joined our team as our Assistant Property Manager and has proven to be a great asset! Miranda has several years of customer service and most enjoys helping others – her favorite is having direct contact with our residents to assist them in payment arrangements and most of the leasing needs. In her spare time, Miranda loves to spend time with husband and son. She enjoys watching any kind of sport and playing volleyball.

Shelby Campbell » Leasing Coordinator

Shelby joined the team in February 2021 as our Leasing Coordinator. Shelby shows properties to prospective tenants and is probably the first person you'll see from our team. She has a degree in advertising with a minor in computer science. Shelby enjoys spending her free time at the stables with her horse and taking her 2 dogs to the park. She also really loves to travel!

Alex Valencia » Leasing Agent

Alex is our Leasing Agent and will most likely be the first voice you hear when you call us. Her role is to answer calls & assist when possible – if not, she’ll get you to who you need! Alex also works all of our rental leads to ensure everyone interested has all the information they need to become a resident of Druid City! Alex is from, and currently lives in, Mexico; however, she also lived in South Korea for six months in 2016 and has plans to go to the UK to obtain her degree in translation interpretation. In 2018, Alex received her degree in Foreign Language Teaching and is able to speak 4 languages – Spanish, English, French, and Korean (Hangul). Alex's hobbies include learning about architecture and real estate, painting, writing poetry and fiction, and singing. To say that she is a huge asset to our team is an understatement.
